Every top college and pro program operates a structured training camp before their season to properly prep their team. What the normal public doesn't see is the grind and hard work behind closed doors that leads to championship caliber programs. Everything matters at this point and the way football players prepare for seasons long battle is what separates the elite from the non-elite.

Our 12u Summer Camp was designed to give the Youth the same type of resources. We are a top-caliber program and what we are providing will not only get football players physically ready for the season, but our players will also be mentally ready as well, each player will go through a structured learning protocol where they will increase their Football IQ.

Smarter. Faster. Stronger.

Daily 7s Practice

Each day will start with a Full 7s Practice. This practice will be formatted similar to NFL and D1 College Programs where the periods are fast-paced and progressive. Players will practice concepts, coverages, plays, etc. that they learn from the day before in the study period. Each practice is 1.5 to 2 hours.

Performance Training

At the end of each camp day will be Proskillz performance training where the players will be working on strictly speed, footwork, agility, and strength. These sessions are non-football based and are meant to develop certain physiological adaptations before the season. Football players will go through a “de-training’ phase if they don’t continue to develop or maintain their pre-season gains. This program is designed to get them DYNAMIC!

Combine Testing and Training

Summer Camp will kick off with a NFL style combine so we can see where our players stack up nationally with percentiles. As a football player in this modern era, it is important that they understand and know how to fully prepare for college testing/evaluations. Base drills are the same everywhere and the first way to get noticed is showing their athleticism through evaluations. They must pass the “eyeball” test first. Over the span of this camp, we will work on combine specific drills that the players can use for the rest of their careers. Technique is vital when it comes to these assessments and we will do our final combine at the conclusion of the camp to show time differences.

Structured IQ Training

Daily concepts, coverages, and football terminology that are traditional in that football world. Advancing the players Football IQ at this stage will have them become more confident and comfortable in the future. Football does not change! Concepts are the same, Coverages are the same, and the game is identical. Only difference is coaches can disguise and alter but it still comes back to the basics. This segment will get our players smarter, which will make the game slow down for them. Everything we work on in FIQ Study Sessions will be practiced the next morning. Players will also be tested at the conclusion of Camp.

Competitive Games

The best way to apply what’s been retained is doing it in a competitive setting where adversity creates more mental processes to develop. The players will have daily in-practice scrimmages and also Elite 7s games on the weekend that are already scheduled.

Field Trips

We will have 2 Field Trips during camp. Both Field Trips are non-football related as the goal is to get their mind away from the game and have fun! One way to create “Athlete Burnout” is doing too much football and not enough extracurricular hobbies/activities. Our players’ minds need to be sharp and refreshed when the season starts. Sometimes they just need a little play time! Our two field trips will be Paintball courses where the fathers are welcomed to join since it fathers’ day weekend. We will do a fathers vs. Sons paintball challenge.

The second field trip will be to Kings Dominion Water Park in Virgina. This will be their last day of camp and closer to their season. This field trip is meant to totally take their mind away and come back ready to roll with their tackle teams. Transportation is provided and far will be split between all participants.
